Rating: - Not a favourite, even with my young boys
Uninteresting story, poor rhymes, no humour. First time I read it, my boy thought that the "underpants" in the title were funny, but he has never since chosen this book and we all much prefer anything that Julia Donaldson has ever done. She can churn out better stuff than this in her sleep.
Rating: - Just as Good as Dinosaurs Love Underpants
We got this for my two year old son based on the fact that he loved Dinosaurs Love Underpants. He feels the same way about this one, and what's not to love?
The illustrations are bold, colourful and funny. There are lots of little jokes for older readers and adults which means it has more to offer than the usual run of the mill picture books.
The text is simple, silly and memorable and the aliens are cute and non threatening.

I bought this book for my 3 year old, who loves his bed time stories, and we both think it is fab. He laughs away at the aliens playing in the underpants, and loves the part where we both say very animatedly......OOOOOHHHH UNDERPANTS. An excellent book which I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to my friends........for their kids of course!!
Rating: - fantastic!
I work with autistic children, and this book is such a hit! the short sentences are easy to follow, the rhythm is mesmerizing and wonderfully motivating. I get so much from the kids when I read this book to them, they get so motivated it is fantastic! Sometimes we get a drum and bang along to the beat.

My little boy got given this book for CHristmas last year and loves it so much that I could probably quote it all the way through, I've read it so often. Okay, there's not a strong story but what do you expect for a cartoon book for pre-schoolers? The rhymes are cute and the pictures are great - we love it, and so do all the kids at nursery!
