Good pouch to store the passprt range of external hard drives
little pocket inside to hold usb cables

Rating: - NOT SUITABLE FOR SMALL HARD DRIVES
I bought this for my 'Western Digital My Passport Essential USB Portable External Hard Drive' but it proved to be far too big, even though it was reccomended through the 'buy together' deal with amazon. My hard drive moves around inside the case and is not held firmly in place which negates the 'shock proof-ness' of the case. I can see how this case would be good for a older larger harddrive but for slimmer more modern models it is not suitable!
Rating: - Perfect Case For LaCie Rugged
I bought one of these because of the price really, and before my LaCie Rugged 500GB had arrived (not from here, cheaper at PC world bussiness) and i thought that it would never fit inside this guy (the RUGGED is a little larger than most drives due to rubber protective siding), but when this arrived a day later... WHAT A PERFECT FIT...!! Its as if the guys at CASE LOGIC made it for my little orange RUGGED.
so, get one... for whatever hard drive... will give u a few more miles out of your drive... ... Read More

The western digital size passport/mybook drives are too small for this case, however they can be held within due to the elastic strp holding it snug. The case opens up in two one side for the drive and the other for cables or other stuff you'd like to keep. I prefer to keep the included cable with the passport drive which also helps to stop the small drive moving around. Recently bought this case for my Trekstor pocket g.u. Provides good protection for the hard drive when travelling, if just a little oversize for the pocket drive.
