Great little sound card. Works perfectly on Vista too which is much more than can be said of many similarly priced sound cards.
Plugged and played straight away after installing via the supplied driver disks.
Definitely recommend for under a 'tenner'!!

quick delivery , easy to install , just remember though if you have onboard sound to disable it in hardware manager so they dont conflict.
brillant sound much better than the onboard , get some decent speakers too to make the best of it 2.1 will do even.

I installed this product on Windows Vista, and it went without a hitch. (Was very slow, but that's Window's fault, not the card's.) Plugged in the speakers, and it worked immediately. Very pleased.
If you're looking for something particularly wonderful, then you'll need to spend wonderful money. However, if you want good sound and simple installation for very few quid, then this product is just about perfect.

The product i received seems completely different to what is described in the reviews, I had eagerly anticipated this products arrival on my doorstep and was please to see it arrive around the time amazon had promised. Rating: - Great value, with a small compromise on sound quality
This card is great if you want good 5.1 surround sound at the lowest price you can get. It does all that its meant to do and the bass is pretty orgasmic.
There are a few slight difficulties, the main one being the installation of the driver:
You want to place the disc in, run it and open Cmi8738, then go to Setup and select which operating blah you're on. Thanks to the guy afew pages on for that.
