I'm not sure why other people are complaining about these, they seem like excellent value for money, considering they work out at just under 30p a hanger! what do people expect??
They are cheap, functional hangers, I'd certainly buy more of them when I need some.
Rating: - Shoddy in quality and finishing
Made from irregular coloured (to point it looked really bad), very knotty wood with the barest hint of any varnish (well OK I couldn't see any). I bought two packs and had to return both as there were gaps in the top joint and sharp bits and holes where the wood was knotty or poorly finished. The bottom bar is quite flimsy wood attached by a single metal pin at each end and on many little care had been taken to ensure that it was centrally positioned on the hanger arms. Rating: - OK for the price
I bought these hangers too, and I have an in between view to both the other customers. Mine were plain varnished wood, a couple of the hangers seemed a bit weak and splintery but the rest were fine. Considering the price I would say they are a good buy, the sort of wooden hanger you would expect to find in a cheaper high street store. I'm unlikely to need for hangers for a while after buying all these but if I needed more I would buy these again.

Very nicely made, smooth wood, seem quite strong too, not sure what the last reviewer bought but it wasn't the same as the ones from Amazon, their natural wood, unpainted and perfect coat hangers, if I need anymore, I'll be purchasing more of these!

These hangers look poor and are badly made. The wood is not smooth and the paint is lumpy! Avoid!
