GOT THIS ITEM TODAY, AND I MUST SAY I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF DISPLAY. AFTER HAVING HAD AN OLD BIG BULKY MONITOR I THOUGHT IT WAS TIME TO MOVE WITH THE TIME. HAVING A VERY CRISP DISPLAY AND NO UNSHARPNESS
IT MAKES A WELCOME ADDITION TO THE STUDY, CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH A FILM WITH THIS.

Rating: - Cheap, and well worthwhile
I got this monitor bundled with a Custom PC from PC Specialist, and am very happy with it so far (about 3 months down the line).
Picture quality is great, I haven't noticed any problems with it so far... White is white, black is black (although possibly not as deep as it could be, and the colours are great. Text is clear and easy to read.
Sound, on the other-hand is a bit of a let down, but that didn't surprise me for basically two laptop speakers... They are more than usable ... Read More

In my eyes, this monitor is UGLY! It looks cheap, sounds cheap and I suppose was cheap when compared with my smaller Samsung monitor that I needed to replace with a larger screen. I could forget the appearance of the whole if my documents were clear and easy to work with but the print is fuzzy despite the efforts that I have made to improve things. This monitor does not work well with DTP, which is what the majority of my work is.

Arrived today, connected without a hitch, excellent picture as good as previous monitors from the likes of LG and Samsung I have had. Nice design, well made and I like the front mounted controls. Built in speakers are OK for watching internet videos etc. I am using the DVI input. Very pleased with this and with a 3 year guarantee to. Thanks again Amazon.

After reading all the reviews, I thought 'why not?'. I was looking to upgrade my 16 month old 17" Yuraku TFT monitor. I received the Hannspree monitor on Tuesday (£95 super saver delivery). I set it all up and had high expectations.
