Rating: - Wonderful product & service
This bulb is excellent - much brighter than my previous (yellowish) energy saving bulb. I've previously needed to 'borrow' my bedside lamp when sitting and reading in my room - the main light wasn't enough... but the Androv bulb is bright enough that I no longer have to. Definitely a good buy for those of us that detest working/reading in poor light.

I've had this bulb in my main bedroom light for the last year - it gets switched on when the alarm goes off in the morning, and within 20 minutes I'm ready to leap out of bed - not normally my style. I used to get SAD but didn't at all last winter - and it's yet to kick in this year.

I tried one of these first and then got hooked so now all my bulbs have been replaced by these. They are generically known as bio-bulbs. The cheapest I found in the UK was around £13 each while Androv charge £8.95. They really are a stark contrast to dirty reddish light you get from normal and low energy bulbs. These are a great light but if your electrics aren't first rate then be warned that they don't last as long as energy saving lights are supposed to. I would recommend buying a single bulb to test if in doubt about the modernity of your own wiring. In my home a bulb will last about three months before blowing but the quality of these daylight bulbs is such that in the main rooms the cost is still worth it.
