Rating: - DVD quality disappointing
The content of this DVD is fantastic. Full marks to Katherine and Darcey for entertainment. The disappointment is the fuzzy recording. While watching Katherine and Darcey sing in the first couple of numbers there are fuzzy spots in front of their faces somewhat like the privacy patches one sees in news dramas. Rating: - stunning!
Absolutely stunning. The sets, dancers and band are brilliant.
Darcey Bussell?........WOW!
Katherine Jenkins?........WHAT A VOICE!
The whole show is wonderful and probably better on DVD than sitting at the back of the O2 arena.
Rating: - Beware- Formatted for US DVD
I desperately wanted this and got it on my birthday but could not get it to play properly. Tried home DVD system, PS3 and PC - all played it badly. Then after returning it for another copy we found out it is recorded in NTSC format - as used in America. We use PAL in the UK, so no wonder it wouldn't play properly.

The camera work is somewhat frenetic, resting on a shot for only a few seconds. While this doesn't really detract from Katherine Jenkins' performance, where we concentrate on her voice, it completely fails for Darcey Bussell's dance, as it would for any ballet or modern dance.
Rating: - good show, wrong concept
Apart from the stars which Darcey Bussell and Katherine Jenkins claim inspired them should be added the name of Mickey Rooney who would usually exclaim in his early films "Let's put on a show". About as much thought went into the thinking behind Viva La Diva because the concept meant that these two likeable, popular and talented ladies, who were breaking new ground, were saddled with emulating top performances by stars outside their comfort zone. Darcey Bussell came out best because her dancing could match ... Read More
